TERREPOWER, Brighten Haiti to light up schools with Solar Energy

TERREPOWER, the cool division of BBB Industries that’s all about solar panels and EV batteries, is making waves. They’re teaming up with Brighten Haiti, a super awesome non-profit, to bring solar energy to Haiti and boost education big time.

Here’s the scoop: Brighten Haiti has this amazing Solar4Schools plan to light up over 300 schools in rural Haiti. This is like the biggest solar project for schools in Haiti ever. Can you believe that in Northern Haiti, 90% of people don’t have electricity? That’s like living in the dark ages. Kevin Keene, the founder of Brighten Haiti, says this donation is a total game-changer.

TERREPOWER and their Ontility brand are sending the first shipment of 508 solar panels by the end of the month. And that’s just the start—they’re donating over 4,900 panels. These panels are gonna power up schools and teach locals how to install them. Imagine a school with no lights suddenly getting 22 panels—that’s enough to light up classrooms, power computer labs, and bring in cool tech. Students are finally gonna get a 21st-century education.

Right now, less than 35% of Haitian schools have electricity. This project could help more than 1,50,000 students get a better education and a brighter future. Maria Caballero, President of TERREPOWER, is super pumped about this partnership. And Peter Hutchings, their Business Development Manager, says this collab shows how committed they are to making the world a better place.
