Govt’s Med Ed glow-up: More docs, more seats, more flex

Check this epic medical education upgrade the government just dropped. Before 2014, we had 387 medical colleges, now we’re rocking 706. MBBS seats skyrocketed by 112% from 51,348 to a whopping 1,08,940, and PG seats flexed a 127% gain, from 31,185 to 70,645.

The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare ain’t playin’ they got this dope scheme for new medical colleges, and out of 157, 108 are live and kicking. Plus, the CSS is making dreams come true in underserved areas, with a sweet fund share of 90:10 for the NE crew and 60:40 for the rest.

Phase-wise deets are out. Phase 1 got places like Assam, Bihar, and even A&N Islands in the mix. Phase 2 brought the heat with Sikkim and more. Phase 3 is the biggest flex, bringing new vibes to AP, Gujarat, and even Ladakh.

But wait, there’s more. AIIMS is on fire too, 22 got the green light, and 19 are already schooling the future doctors. This government ain’t just talking the talk, they’re walking the walk, making sure we got more docs, more seats, and more medical power.
