Massive drive for menstrual hygiene in India’s heartlands

Big vibes in rural India as the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare drops a bomb scheme to boost menstrual hygiene among our adolescent queens aged 10-19. A whopping 3,13,255 Anganwadis and 3,69,461 Schools are on the grind, making sure our rural squad is rocking the ultimate menstrual hygiene game. This scheme, all about Adolescent Reproductive Sexual Health, is the real deal.

Guess who are the Most Valuable Players (MVPs)? ASHA workers, y’all! They’re the ones hooking us up with dope sanitary napkin packs at just ₹6 for a pack of 6. Plus, they’re setting up lit monthly meetings with our girls, spilling the tea on health stuff, especially the vibes around menstrual hygiene management.

Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP) is in the mix too! Jan Aushadhi Suvidha Sanitary Napkins hitting the streets at just ₹1 per pad. It’s all about keeping it real and affordable for our queens.

Schools are the place to be for spreading the word! Awareness about safe and hygienic menstrual health practices is the move. The states and UTs are dropping mad knowledge bombs through IEC and BCC activities. It’s all part of the game plan under the National Health Mission.

So, there you have it, fam! Rural India is levelling up with this epic scheme. Let’s keep it fresh, clean, and fierce!
