Haryana Police dab tear gas shells at protesting farmers
The Haryana Police really went BRR BRR today on the Punjab-Haryana Shambhu border, firing tear gas shells at the farmers flexing their muscles against the gov’ and demanding their MSP be as high as they are. But guess what, these farmers ain’t playin’ around, they got their gas masks, bulldozers, and heavy machinery ready to clap back at the police.
Hold up, though, ’cause the police are giving some serious warnings to the owners of the earthmover machines and bulldozers joining the farmers’ squad. They said, “Yo, you may be held criminally liable if you let those big boy machines play for the other team. That’s a no-go, fam.”
Then, the farmers came back with an upgrade, pulling up with those modded JCB machines, bulldozers, and gas masks lookin’ like they’re about to drop the sickest concert at the protest.
The gov’ ain’t chillin’ either, man. They put up boulders stronger than your arguments during a Twitter beef, and loaded up buses and trucks to stop these farmers from hitting up the capital. But, the farmers aren’t just chilling at the border, they’re ready to raise the heat.
Sarwan Singh Pandher, one of the farmer leaders, said, “We’re coming to the capital, and we ain’t backing down. If the gov’ thinks they can solve things by taking us out, well, they’ve got another thing coming. We’re about to show the world what’s good, peacefully.” He’s not wrong, either. If things get lit, the gov’ is gonna be held accountable.
But, the Punjab and Haryana high court wasn’t vibing with the farmers’ plans, slamming them for bringing tractor-trolleys onto the highways. “Tractor-trolleys aren’t allowed here, fam,” they said. “There are rights, but there are also responsibilities.” The gov’ wasn’t chillin’ either, asking their Punjab buddies to take away the bulldozers to avoid any safety mishaps. Safety first, people.
The farmers have been getting the cold shoulder from the gov’ when it comes to MSP for all crops. The gov’ offered MSP for some crops for the next five years, but the farmers ain’t having it. They want that legal guarantee, and they’re not stopping until they get it.
Oh, and get this, the gov’ says there are 14,000 farmers at the Shambhu border, rolling in with 1,200 tractors and 300 cars. It’s a party out there, folks. So, keep your eyes on the Punjab-Haryana border, ’cause things are about to get spicy. Who knows what the next move is, but one thing’s for sure: the farmer fam ain’t backing down.
