Paloma Adams spreading love and thanks across the globe
Deputy Administrator of USAID, Paloma Adams-Allen just jetted off to some rad places – Ethiopia, Egypt, and Germany – to spread some positivity and check out the awesome work the USAID fam is doing. Straight up, it’s about showing love and respect for all the hard work and commitment these legends put in every day.
Over in Ethiopia, it was all about showing love to the team there for their non-stop grind to save lives. She vibed with the peeps about all the challenges and huge opportunities to make things better in Ethiopia, like dealing with hunger and keeping US assistance on point. Plus, she made sure to give props to the local heroes on the ground for their hustle. Oh, and she also kicked back with some female boss babes making a difference with USAID’s help.
In Egypt, she was all about cheering on the amazing local team tackling the big issues like the chaos in Gaza and the crazy stuff Putin’s pulling in Ukraine. It’s not easy, but they’re giving it everything. And while she was in Cairo, she shouted out the peeps from Sudan who are dealing with some heavy stuff, showing them some major respect for their loyalty and service.
In Germany, she got to chill with the support crew who keep the whole USAID operation running smooth. Big props to them! And last but not least, she got to meet and thank the real superheroes – the Syrian Civil Defence crew (AKA the White Helmets) who have been saving lives and helping out in Syria for over 10 years.
